1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Splithra (the "App") or visiting https://splithra.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Splithra is a mobile application that helps users track and split shared expenses. It is available as a free download with optional paid upgrades (Pro and VIP tiers) via in-app purchase.
3. Account Registration
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate information during registration.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the App
- Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use the Service to harass or harm other users
- Attempt to circumvent the freemium limits through technical means
5. Freemium Model & In-App Purchases
The free tier includes limited features as described on our Pricing page. Pro and VIP subscriptions are billed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. All subscription management, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the respective platform in accordance with their policies.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of the expense data, group names, and other content you create in Splithra. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your content to third parties.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Splithra and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the App.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which we operate.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
